The idea is to create a mobile, pop-up museum that could be set up in spare rooms at schools, local libraries, and maybe a parking lot. We would also be able to potentially use it to teach half day or full day summer camps with programs like BOCES or independently with teacher, libraries, and school districts. It could also function as a temporary installation in galleries or small museums.
Installations will include:
Microbe hunt using AR cards to collect the beasts featured in the bestiary. We will hide little plaques around the exhibit that visitors will be able to scan with a phone app that will show them in 3D space. Once found, they will also be able to take a copy of the cards home with them. This will also encourage people to wander through the whole exhibit.
Activities will include:
Microbial Suncatcher
