Would you please pass the word around that I am looking for a paid part-time Data Scientist Intern to work in our local office in Laramie, WY, starting as soon as possible?

 

The intern will be a central member of the Stats Team, working side-by-side with other data scientists, analysts, statistician, engineers, biologists, and geologists. Through Trihydro's global mission, the company has access to unique and highly specialized data sets. The intern will help organize data, develop client-specific computational algorithms and statistical analysis, and clearly communicate the Team’s conclusions to project managers, their clients, and diverse ruling agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

· A basic understanding of statistics

· A good knowledge of R

· Able to work up to 20 hours a week, but the schedule will be flexible

· Initiative

· Integrity

· Problem solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

· Interest or experience in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) related field, such as but not limited to:

o Computational Biology or Genetics

o Data analytics

o Engineering

o Geospatial analysis

o Mathematics

o Statistics

  • Intermediate statistical knowledge a plus, but not required
