Assistance to the State
COVID-19 predictions from statistical and population models are being released every few days. The interpretation and implications of these models depends on their details.
We are doing this work on the following page, which is private to the Data Science Center, so you will need to login to Confluence to see it. Partners within the State government will read our evaluations, and post requests to evaluate new models. https://microcollaborative.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DSC/pages/455049247
As for the current description of our work and the understanding we have with the State, please see the parent page https://microcollaborative.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DSC/pages/453083217/UW-State%2Bof%2BWyoming%2BCOVID-19%2Bcollaboration
I would very much appreciate your help in reviewing resources and staying abreast of novel resources that you encounter. I expect that additional organization will be required if we do this for a while and as the volume of material grows. For some of these evaluations, I am sure we’d benefit from some group discussions of the resources. For example, it would be great if we could read and review these two over the weekend, and based on what we find, discuss them early next week.

There are also opportunities to do some work with visualizations if that interests you. Please see
COVID-19 Visualizations, including the plots and code that @Pavel Chernyavskiy posted.
Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
Thanks and best regards, Alex
